Pinata Pitch 2025

On June 7th, Pinata Pitch’s flagship event was finally brought to life. That day, over 150 investors, founders, students and inventors came together in downtown Montreal to witness the culmination of 6 months of intense brainstorming, organizing, and planning.

Fiery ambition filled the atmosphere as teams of student innovators connected and shared experiences with experienced industry experts, pitching fresh and novel startups in tech, ranging from portable laser-precision robots to spearheading femtech innovation in third world countries.

This year, an incredible 230 teams from over 15 countries competed for a spot on the podium. From hundreds of hopefuls, only 5 fought their way through the selection process to claim their spots as finalists. Paired with seasoned industry experts serving as mentors, these teams worked relentlessly for over 2 months to fine-tune their pitch and their prototype.

At Pinata Pitch, we believe that revolutionary ideas don't wait for graduation ceremonies. That's why we've created a platform specifically designed to unleash student innovation; because the next game-changing startup is sitting in a college dorm room right now.
